Sneaky Preston

After we finished decorating the trees we hung candy canes on the one downstairs. After a while Preston disappeared and wouldn't tell anyone where he was when we were calling him. Five minutes later we found him hiding behind the couch....with a few real candy canes, a fake lollipop ornament, and a Candy Cane Reindeer ornament that I had made 20 years ago. Unfortunately he tried all of them and ended up eating the 20 year old candy cane! Mmm, Yum!

  3. Funny, funny, he didn't get sick did he? I guess those candy canes last forever. We'll have to stick some in our 72 hr. kits. At least the kids will eat them. We had to put our candy canes on the very top of the tree. Too many sneaky fingers too!!

  4. maybe candy canes are like fine wines... they taste better the older they are. you probably missed out on an amazing flavor... at least preston enjoyed it!
i probably should put real food on our tree, then maybe livia wouldn't eat the red and silver balls.
